I'm Melanie Karlik. I'm a Vancouver based, freelancer. I do both web design and development. I have 6+ years of industry experience, a BSc. in Computer Science and a Design Certificate.

I can provide websites for individuals and small businesses built on an open source content management system (aka free software!).

I've done projects in areas of tourism, education, fashion, consulting and services. I’ve also done some projects for non-profit, individuals and real estate feature sites.

Are you looking to subcontract work?

I can provide photoshop designs in a grid layout or slice and code provided a PSD comp.

I can also theme code to a CMS (most experience is in wordpress)

Note that I have an appreciation for good design so I keep the integrity of the designer's work! :)
